TODAY ON TWITCH: THE MAKING OF THE HELLBLADE SENUA’S SACRIFICE SIGGRAPH DEMO AND THE UNVEIL OF THE AUGUST #UE4JAM THEME
Today on the UE4 Twitch livestream, the Epic team will go behind the scenes of the groundbreaking Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice real-time cinematography demo from SIGGRAPH 2016. Afterwards, the team will be giving away ten Steam codes for the recently released UE4-powered title, Abzu, along with the announcement of the August #UE4jam theme!

UNREAL ENGINE MARKETPLACE SUMMER SALE
With summer in full swing, Epic has announced the start of the Unreal Engine Marketplace Summer Sale. From now until mid-September, a new themed genre will be introduced each week and offer up to 75% off popular Marketplace items including starter kits, props, sounds and VFX.

UE4 PROJECTS RECOGNIZED AT DARE TO BE DIGITAL
At this year’s Dare Protoplay, UE4 was represented by three student teams who earned recognition for their impressive video game projects. The event attracted nearly 13,000 attendees and served as the culminating event of the international Dare to be Digital competition organized by Abertay University.

The stunning celestial playground Glaze by Crowbar Games took home the Channel 4 Award and received £25,000 towards development of the game and a publishing deal with Channel 4. Additionally, multiplayer dodgeball game Rebound by Rebound Games and Among the Stones by Bluedoor Games earned BAFTA Ones to Watch nominations.

LET’S START UNREAL: KOREAN NATIONWIDE TOUR
Epic Games Korea will be expanding its ‘Let’s Start Unreal’ training program throughout five different cities in Korea this September. The program offers developers the opportunity to learn UE4 from scratch and includes sessions focused on mobile, VR and AR game development.
