Today, EA officially announced EA SPORTS NHL 16, the next installment in the NHL franchise.
Team has been the heart of hockey for as long as it’s existed, and this year it’s at the heart of NHL 16. We looked to our biggest fans and asked them to be a part of our team. Their most requested features and modes are in the game and include new experiences that make NHL bigger and better. On the ice, team carries through to our gameplay, with innovation and balance at every position, so that each role is meaningful to play. In NHL 16, success is a total team effort, the result of everyone understanding that you never do it alone. You have to play as a team and win as a team
