Snitch finding its way home in June via Lionsgate and Summit Entertainment

A father will stop at nothing to save his family in Snitch, the action-packed thriller starring Dwayne Johnson (upcoming Pain & Gain, Fast Five, The Scorpion King), arriving on Blu-ray Disc (plus Digital Copy and Ultraviolet), DVD (plus Digital Copy and Ultraviolet), Digital Download, Video on Demand and Pay-Per-View June 11 from Summit Entertainment, a LIONSGATE company. Inspired by true events, the film also features performances from Barry Pepper (upcoming The Lone Ranger, Broken City), Jon Bernthal (TV’s “The Walking Dead”), Michael K. Williams (HBO’s “Boardwalk Empire,” HBO’s “The Wire”), Melina Kanakaredes (TV’s “CSI:NY,” TV’s “Providence”), Nadine Velazquez (Flight, TV’s “The League”), Rafi Gavron (The Cold Light of Day) and David Harbour (End of Watch, The Green Hornet) along with Benjamin Bratt (TV’s “Law and Order,” Traffic, Miss Congeniality) and Academy Award® winner* Susan Sarandon.

Johnson stars as a successful businessman who learns his son faces 10 tough years in a Federal hole for drug possession.  Convinced it was a set-up, he volunteers to become an undercover informant and infiltrate a ruthless cartel.  Now, with his back against the wall and his life totally on the line, he must expose the true criminals before they discover his identity.

The Blu-ray Disc and DVD special features include a 50-minute multi-part “making of” documentary, an audio commentary with the director and writer and deleted scenes. The Snitch Blu-ray Disc and DVD will be available for the suggested retail price of $39.99 and $29.95, respectively.
