The “Disney Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two” video game returns Mickey Mouse and Oswald the Lucky Rabbit to Wasteland, an alternate world filled with more than 80 years of forgotten Disney characters and theme park attractions. Rainbow Caverns was one of the first rides built in Wasteland, although these days the ride itself is pretty much forgotten. Now the Caverns are used for the giant Projector Substation that supplies all the power to the projectors across the world.

“Disney Epic Mickey: Power Of Illusion” features an interactive combination of painting, dual screen integration and 3D transformation capabilities designed to give players the unique ability to create objects and even characters they can place in the game. Paying tribute to the classic Sega Genesis title “Castle of Illusion Starring Mickey Mouse,” the title focuses on the fabled Castle of Illusion, which has fallen into Wasteland, an alternate world filled with 80 years of forgotten Disney characters and theme park attractions – and now forgotten video games. In the South Wing of the Castle of Illusion, Mickey will encounter scenes from classic film, “The Little Mermaid.” Many familiar characters await to be rescued and battle alongside Mickey, including Ariel, Sebastian, Ursula, Simba (from “The Lion King”), and more! New enemies and undersea game mechanics are introduced as the water in the magical castle behaves in fantastical ways, even forming walls and ceilings that Mickey can dive into.
