Beginning today Lost Planet 2 is available for download for PC via Steam, Games on Demand for Games for Windows Live, Direct2Drive, and other digital sellers. Optimized especially for PC’s, Lost Planet 2 features support for DirectX® 11 and DirectX 9, delivering its Akrid-infested world in even greater detail. Through DirectX® 11 features, smoke will have lifelike volume and depth, water surfaces react realistically to players, Akrid, and bullets, and level bosses are rendered with more detail than ever before. Lost Planet 2 will also feature support for NVIDIA® 3D Vision™ and 3D Vision™ Surround technologies (wireless 3D Vision glasses sold separately) bringing the on-screen action to a whole new dimension.
