SAN FRANCISCO, CALIF/New York, NY – September 30, 2010 – Complex Media and G-Shock today announced that they have partnered with LucasArts, a division of Lucasfilm Entertainment Company Ltd., to produce a pair of watches inspired by LucasArts’ highly anticipated upcoming video game, Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II.
Designed collaboratively by LucasArts, G-Shock and Complex Media, only 50 pairs of the Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II X G-Shock watches will be produced. The extremely limited edition watches are inspired by the award-winning story of Star Wars®:The Force Unleashed™, with a focus on the Master/Apprentice relationship between Darth Vader and Starkiller. The Darth Vader X G-Shock includes visual cues hinting at the fearsome Dark Lord’s iconic chest plate and mask, while the Starkiller watch incorporates the powerful hero’s Force lightning and signature dual Lightsabers. Destined to become highly sought after Star Wars collectibles, only 50 sets of watches will be produced, and amongst those only 10 sets will be made available to the public.
