KONAMI today announced the availability of Divergent Shift, a new puzzle platformer for Nintendo DSiWare™. Previously known as Reflection, Divergent Shift is the first Nintendo DS™ title to win the 2009 Independent Games Festival Award and combines 2D puzzle elements with challenging gameplay.
In Divergent Shift, players assume the role of trailblazing thief-for-hire Kirra. When a magical mirror is inadvertently broken unleashing a shattered reality, Kirra must navigate through an alternate universe to find and piece together the broken shards. In order to restore the world, gamers must use the dual screen functionality of the Nintendo DSi™, playing as both Kirra and her shadow simultaneously. As gamers focus on utilizing both screens, they must solve puzzles by using both characters in tandem while exploring various locations including forests and temples. Several extra features such as Expert Levels and Time Attack Mode challenge players beyond the main quest and lend extended replay value.
Divergent Shift is rated E for Everybody by the ESRB and is now available to download on Nintendo DSiWare for 800 Nintendo DSi points.
