Based on the book, Loving Natalee by Beth Holloway Twitty, the film captures the real life story of a mother’s tireless search for truth and justice after her teenage daughter’s disappearance. Directed by Michael Saloman (TV’s “The Company”) and teleplay written by Teena Booth (TV’s “Sex and Lies in Sin City: The Ted Binion Scandal”), the film stars Tracy Pollan (TV’s “Family Ties”), Grant Show (TV’s “Melrose Place”) and Catherine Dent (TV’s “The Shield”). SYNOPSIS
During a high school graduation class trip to Aruba, a carefree vacation turns tragic when teenager Natalee Holloway fails to show for her return flight home to Alabama. Despite no physical trace of her daughter, Beth Holloway Twitty (Pollan) embarks on an extensive ongoing search that lasts more than four years and becomes a media sensation. With her husband George (Show) and her close friend Carol (Dent), Beth struggles to discover the reasons for her daughter’s sudden disappearance and to solve a mystery that becomes a harrowing nightmare and changes the family forever.
