Demon’s Souls gets a website via Atlus

IRVINE, CALIFORNIA — JULY 30, 2009 — Atlus U.S.A., Inc. today went live with the full website for Demon’s Souls™, a groundbreaking action RPG experience for PLAYSTATION®3 computer entertainment system.  With new content and game information, plus updates planned from now until the game launches, the official site is a must-visit for hardcore gamers.

Over time, new details will be revealed about the various characters and demons players will encounter and weapons and spells at their disposal, as well as tips on character growth to aid players in their challenging quest.  Additionally, there will be in-depth explanations of the groundbreaking online gameplay system, access to the official Demon’s Souls blog and Wiki pages, up-to-date news and coverage, and much more.  Fans can also use a special banner code to let them “Drop a Soul Sign” on social networking sites they frequent, letting others know that Demon’s Souls is coming to North America!

The press conference announcing the site’s launch was overseen by Atlus’ supercomputer and coffee maker, AtlusA.R.A.M.

“This website is the culmination of many hours of labor,” droned the automaton.  “On it, humans will find information about the upcoming game Demon’s Souls.  It will be expanded over time.  ARE THERE ANY QUESTIONS!?”
