Artwork
The artwork was great. Seeing the animation of the characters was interesting. It was consistent in that the characters did not change form; it remained sharp throughout the series. This is something that is needed in all anime. DragonBall Z lacked this element: At one point they look sharp and then on the next episode they could look goofy, the animation changed drastically. I’ll give them credit on the artwork because it was good.
Overall
It was a good show, not action packed but it demonstrated the reality of an athlete. Although they were a team, the plate did not always sit straight on the table, there were disagreements amongst the group and they had to work out their differences. This is something that we face on a daily basis and this anime illustrated this point.
