The Jetsons and WWE Robo-WrestleMania is a 2017 film with the loveable Jetsons and some WWE characters combining worlds. George Jetson uncovers Big Show a 21st century WWE wrestler in a block of ice. Big Show has the same reaction someone from our time would have if we suddenly appeared in the future. When Big Show starts destroying the city and causing a horrible chaos it’s up to George Jetson to use his sons time machine to go back in time, recruit old WWE stars, and help stop Big Show. Each WWE character has their own robot character in the movie which is pretty funny. Towards the end a special appearance of a certain robot simulating a famous WWE star shows up. I found this quite comical and a funny addition into the movie. Something really cool about the movie is that they take real WWE stars and they all play their own characters in the movie. By taking real characters it makes the voice actors be able to get into “character” easily. The movie has a certain nostalgia factor when watching it. As a kid watching the Jetsons this was a joy to watch and made me feel like a kid again. The plot line of the movie was pretty good and original. Crossovers can be difficult because you’re taking two different worlds and trying to make them entertaining. WWE and Warner Bros. combined to make an entertaining and funny film, something that again that is hard to do with a crossover of two completely different worlds. If you have ever seen the Jetsons show this movie is definitely something you would enjoy. All the old characters are included in the movie and makes you want to go back and watch it again.

This DVD edition comes with some added Featurettes such as Welcome to Orbit City, The Dangers of Button Pushing and The Jetsons: My favorite Memories of the Future. Each of these added features is the WWE stars talking about certain aspects of the movie and its very interesting to see their perspective of the movie and certain parts of the Jetsons world. It also comes with 3 bonus cartoon episodes. So that nostalgia factor I talked about earlier is already taken care of. The three episodes are “Rose the Robot”, Jetson’s Nite Out”, and The Coming of Astro.” I really like how they included some original episodes into the DVD because you know people are going to want to go back and watch some episodes after the movie is over. If you’re a fan of this show or any of the WWE stars that are included in the movie pick this one up. The nostalgia factor alone makes this a good film as well as the entertaining story along the way.
