Epic Games releases Unreal Engine 4.15

Epic Games has launched Unreal Engine 4.15, introducing reduction in engine compile times, Nintendo Switch support, NVIDIA SLI support and much, much more. In addition, Sumo Digital has announced the launch date for their UE4-powered physics platformer, Snake Pass, for Switch, PS4, Xbox One and PC. Lastly, today’s Twitch livestream will feature Conan Exiles gameplay and a look at the recently launched mod editor. Read on for all the details!

UNREAL ENGINE 4.15 NOW AVAILABLE

Unreal Engine 4.15 is now available through the Epic Games launcher and ships with major features, including Nintendo Switch Support, NVIDIA SLI support, hundreds of updates from Epic and 79 improvements submitted by the UE4 GitHub community.

Additional features include new physically-based default post-processing settings, improved texture streaming, cooking Blueprints to C++, faster C++ compile times, Material Editor reroute nodes, Sequencer animation blending and more.

SNAKE PASS COMING TO NINTENDO SWITCH, PLAYSTATION 4, XBOX ONE AND PC IN MARCH

Sumo Digital, the developers behind Sonic All-Stars Racing and Little Big Planet 3, have announced that their upcoming UE4-powered 3D platform game Snake Pass will be launching in March. Snake Pass puts players in the role of Noodle the snake as he slithers and curls his way throughout challenging puzzles and obstacles. Snake Pass is the first UE4 game to be release for Nintendo Switch, and it also launches day and date for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Steam and Windows 10.
