Let us say it up front: we smell BS on this one. Either way, the source makes it at least remotely interesting, so here’s the scoop.
Apparently, CNBC’s Fast Money host Guy Adami has been heard to have said:
“…there is chatter that Apple (AAPL Quote) is eyeing Electronic Arts(ERTS Quote) as a takeover target.”
At least, that’s the way TheStreet has it, who reports on the incident as a mere line item within a much larger article.
It probably doesn’t hold much if any salt, but can we be the first to say “Eww”?
