By far one of the bigger announcements at the Nintendo Media Briefing this morning may have also been one of the more overshadowed ones due to the other killer titles announced. And though there is a lot of mystery about specifics in reference to any details about the title, Golden Sun DS is definitely a warm welcome that came out of nowhere from the Nintendo camp. I’ve been a huge fan of th...[Read More]
I thought King of Kong was a fine film. Reigning Donkey Kong high score champion Billy Mitchell was presented as an exceptional dastardly fiend, and the challenger, everyman Steve Wiebe, won hearts of thousands with his earnest sense of dedication. The authenticity may be disputed, but, regardless, the documentary did a fantastic job of creating characters and maintaining interest. Thanks to G4, ...[Read More]
I walked into Resident Evil: Darkside Chronicles with, probably for the better, never having played any non numbered entry in the Resident Evil series. Anything of the mainline typically hasn’t been of the most stellar quality, but I remember 2007’s Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles doing reasonably well, and not too bad critically either. Still, I never played it, so I started fresh with DC....[Read More]
Enjoy these audio recordings of the Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 showing at E3. The first audio clip is about 20 minutes, and is recorded from the closed booth demo of the game. The other two (one and two) are myself and Steve Schardein, talking to one of the Activision reps outside of the booth demo. Enjoy.
I spent about twenty minutes with an EA rep, playing the GI Joe game for the 360. It’s actually a lot better than I was expecting it to be, and that is partly due to the fact that it’s not bound by the film it’s named after. Enjoy this live audio.
Spoke with a fellow from Monolith who’s name I unfortunately have forgotten. We talked about FEAR 2’s second DLC pack as well as some other off topic things. It’s a fun listen, so check it out.
Despite its popularity, I had never actually played a single entry in the Monster Hunter franchise. I had seen the outrageous line at the Tokyo Game Show and was well aware that it’s basically selling the PSP in Japan, but, for whatever reason, it never really collected my interest. Regardless, I elected to give it a show during my stop by Capcom this afternoon. In my demo I was paired with three ...[Read More]

Cameras were not allowed, but we managed to get the full audio from the presentation, plus a few questions before and after the showing that I asked. This clip runs about sixteen minutes; enjoy.
To compliment our exclusive HD video of the Singularity demo, here is the audio feed from the closed booth demo. It runs about thirteen minutes and reveals quite a bit about the game.
Enjoy this live recording from the Sony Media Briefing. Unfortunately my battery died late into the Briefing, and I didn’t notice until after the Briefing was over, as Sony had my eyes glued to the stage the entire time. Anyway, enjoy these 95 minutes 🙂
So, Gran Turismo on PSP exists. After going dormant for what seemed like an eternity, the game reemerged this afternoon at Sony’s press conference to thunderous glee. I was skeptical of the purported stats (over 700 cars and a ridiculous number of tracks) and the translation to the PSP, but, thus far, everything seemed to play as it should. Only one track and one car were available in the demo, bu...[Read More]
