“Scissors cuts paper, paper covers rock, rock crushes lizard, lizard poisons Spock, Spock smashes scissors, scissors decapitates lizard, lizard eats paper, paper disproves Spock, Spock vaporizes rock, and as it always has, rock crushes scissors.”
Sheldon, Leonard and the gang are back at it again with another hilarious season of The Big Bang Theory. Penny and Leonard renew their wedding vows in front of family and friends, who cant seem to get along. Raj tries to figure out why he can’t find love; while daddy’s money might be the center of the issue. All while the gang introduces the newest member of their crew, Howard and Bernadette’s baby, Halley.
The group continues to grow throughout the season as the Wolowitz family inherits someone more needy than their new baby, Halley. In the mean time, Sheldon is able to over come his OCD and strange ways so he can move in with long time girlfriend, Dr. Amy Farrah Fowler. All while this diverse group of friends tackle new obstacles like dealing with a work contract for the United States Air Force and a sexual advancement by another woman towards Sheldon. Yes. You read that correctly, TOWARDS SHELDON.
Leonard and Penny are in the early stages of their marriage and are still attempting to figure things out without killing each other. Slowly, Penny begins placing some of Leonard’s prized collectables into storage without his knowledge to make their apartment feel more like her own. As their troubles continue, a massive argument between the couple leads to only one possible solution; a relationship agreement generated by none other than Dr. Cooper. While Leonard and Penny are dealing with their own issues, Raj comes to a sad realization that the reason he is un-dateable is because his parents spoil him too much. Raj asks for the help of his best friend Howard to help him organize an “intervention” with previous girlfriends to get down to the bottom of Raj’s issues. Howard and Bernie are dealing with their new life now that Halley has arrived. This consists of sleepless nights, constant crying and a creaky floor becoming the center of their problems throughout the season.
Personally, this season is one of the shows better ones. The group dynamic changes as their personal relationships grow, but the gang is able to stay intact and adapt to the changing times. The show never lacks creativity and there is never a dull moment with this crew. I lost count of how many times I actually laughed out loud during this season. From Sheldon’s inability to recognize sarcasm, to references from comic book universes, the Big Bang Theory is able to keep the audience entertained from start to finish. It is no surprise that CBS picked up the show for another two seasons back in March, giving fans at least two more seasons worth of crazy antics from this tight knit group of friends.
Menu: Season 10 was viewed via Blu-Ray. The quality was excellent and I loved the fact that I could binge watch all 22 episodes in a matter of days. Who doesn’t love a good show with some nerdy comedy? Bazinga. The season was compiled on only two discs along with the special features. You have your basic menu options such as play episodes, episode selections and the special features section.
Special Features: This season included 5 new special feature options. #justaskBBT, Mad Props, The Ever Expanding Universe of the Big Bang Theory, Who’s the Baby now, and the Best of the Big Bang Theory: 2016 Comic-Con Panel. This season also included a gag-reel of the cast and crew members.
