Dragon Quest IX officially delayed

Square Enix announced today that Dragon Quest IX was officially delayed. “The sale date has been changed to July 11 in order to give us enough time to improve and inspect this title,” Square Enix states in a press release. Most of us heard the rumors last week, so this confirmation may not come as much of a surprise. We’ll have more on this as it develops.

Nintendo to publish World of Goo in Japan, if trademark registration is to be believed

A new Japanese trademark registration seems to indicate that, quite surprisingly, Nintendo may be publishing World of Goo in Japan.  Apparently the company believes in the game’s potential appeal in the Land of the Rising Sun. Good news for Japanese gamers, and hopefully also for 2D Boy, who apparently has suffered inestimably from piracy of the game.

Bubble Bobble Plus for WiiWare – Video Footage
