The Super Hero Squad Show is back for its second DVD release with The Quest For The Infinity Sword, Volume 2. This second volume consists of a single disc with about 130 minutes of content including episodes seven through twelve of the show's first season. There are also a couple of brief extra features. Several months ago, I reviewed the first volume and thought it was a good cartoon for a younge...[Read More]
Robocop busts out onto Blu-ray this month with the full trilogy box set. Sporting a very compelling price and a snazzy box, is this a must have for Robocop or action movie fans? I wouldn't quite call it that, but it does make for a great gift this holiday. Lets turn up our scanners and take a closer look at the Robocop Trilogy on Blu-ray.
Anyone who has ever had the chance to enjoy an arcade will almost certainly tell you about some 'light gun' game or another that has stolen quite a few of their quarters. Be it classics like Area 51 or Time Crisis, the genre has always had a consistent following and found new life in Nintendo's Wii. With the release of the PlayStation Move, the genre can again proliferate, only this time on a much...[Read More]
Gusto Games and O-Games have teamed up to bring PlayStation Move owners a new golf sim in John Daly's ProStroke Golf. Featuring "The Lion" John Daly and plenty of licensed gear and courses, ProStroke Golf is a decent start to what could eventually be a solid competitor to EA's market-holding Tiger Woods series.

We've all seen dozens of cheap, cheesy Wii accessories over the last four years, but I'm actually excited about this new product from THQ. Check out the official word below and some high res images of the product.
Ben Tennyson, aka Ben 10, is a popular Cartoon Network hero who I've only recently become familiar with thanks to a new game from Papaya and D3. Ben 10: Ultimate Alien: Cosmic Destruction is a third person action adventure that features Ben and his pals trying to save Earth from certain destruction. While it does have its shortcomings, this newest Ben 10 title is still fun, and it also retails for...[Read More]
One thing I will always appreciate the Nintendo Wii for is that it brought 'light gun games' back. While they never disappeared, having appeared on every major platform since the original NES, the Wii, I feel, is a big reason that such 'point and click' shooter games have made a nice comeback this generation. That trend then is surely to continue with Sony's motion controller, the Move. Interworks...[Read More]
If you have a PlayStation Move, there is a pretty reasonable chance that you also have Sports Champions, Sony's popular pack-in title not unlike Wii Sports that originally shipped with the Wii. This Move-only game features gladiator dueling, table tennis, archery, and a couple of other sports. Looking to capitalize on the launch of the Move, as did many accessory makers with the Wii (to this day),...[Read More]
Psychic turned consultant is one Patrick Jane (played by Simon Baker) in CBS' popular crime drama The Mentalist. The series has a passionate fan base that applauds the show for its great writing and storytelling, along with its intricate and likable characters. Those very characters are a significant part of 'act two' of the Mentalist, i.e., the second season, in which character backgrounds and re...[Read More]
The 90s were host to a variety of great Saturday morning cartoons, including X-Men: The Animated Series. Today's cartoons don't seem to have that same level of quality, but there are some exceptions. One such exception is another X-Men series titled Wolverine And The X-Men, which ran for a scheduled twenty-six episodes and took some of the best elements from another great series, X-Men: Evolution,...[Read More]
The Cold War era was not only a time of real espionage, but also a great deal of fictional espionage, much of it very good. ITV1 in England aired Danger Man, a thirty-minute show starring Patrick McGoohan, who would later be the lead role in an even more popular TV series known as The Prisoner. The series began in 1960, two years before Connery hit the big screen with the first Bond film, Dr. No, ...[Read More]
