I'm not confident humanity will ever again have an age of awesome toys and cartoons that were such a cornerstone of the youth growing up in the 80s. Sure, I'm biased, having spent much of my youth in the 80s, but come on -- GI Joe, Transformers, He-Man, to name a few. There was also MASK, which is one that may be easy to forget because it hasn't been reinvented or kept alive by comic books or movi...[Read More]
Bleach is a popular anime series that has a large, maybe not DragonBall large, but still very large, following in the West. I've dabbled with some Bleach games in the past on previous systems, but I've yet to dive into the anime/manga to really figure who's who and what the heck is going on. The series features classic DC characters, those that make up the Justice League, but the spotlight is on Robin, Aqualad, Kid Flash, Artemis, Superboy, and ...[Read More]
Techland and Ubisoft are back with the third installment of the Call of Juarez series. Call of Juarez: The Cartel (CoJ:TC), marks some major changes for the series, simultaneously adding interesting new gameplay ideas but also executing them in very poor fashion. Ultimately, the result is a mess of a game that could have benefited from several more months of development. Still, The Cartel is not a...[Read More]
