Guilty Gear XX Accent Core Plus
Arc System Works' Guilty Gear series has been around for some fifteen years now. In early December, the latest home version, Guilty Gear XX Accent Core Plus, was finally released on the PSN, having previously been released on XBLA, Wii, and PSP. The R version is live in select arcades now, so even though Plus isn't the latest, it's still a solid technical 2D fighter with a deep history.

The popularity of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's British detective Sherlock Holmes has seen a strong renewed interest in the last few years thanks to Robert Downey Jr's portrayal of him and a successful new CBS drama. UK developer Ninja Theory and Capcom have teamed up for a new Devil May Cry game. DmC is a prequel that has all of the familiar gameplay elements DMC fans have come to know and love, but even series newcomers shouldn't pass this one up.
