The Kingdom
Universal Studios is releasing both Jarhead and The Kingdom this week on Blu-ray, the former of which I just finished reviewing. Both star Jamie Foxx, and while I prefer Jarhead as a film, turns out The Kingdom is a much more well rounded Blu-ray release that you may want to keep an eye this holiday season. Let's take a closer look.
Jarhead
Coming to Blu-ray this week are two Jamie Foxx action flicks: Jarhead and The Kingdom. Both are about American-Middle Eastern relations, but tell about them from two decidedly different points of view. In Jarhead, Foxx stars as the Marine-for-life Staff Sergeant Sykes, while in The Kingdom he plays an FBI agent named Ronald Fleury. Let's take a look at Jarhead on Blu-ray first.
