Riot Games’ Riftbound Reveals What’s Next for 2026

I am so excited for the next expansion of RIFTBOUND! Check out news of their State of the Game below~

Riot Games has shared a detailed look at what’s ahead for Riftbound: The League of Legends Trading Card Game, revealing updates to the game’s 2026 roadmap across competitive play, upcoming set releases, preview timelines, and languages.

The update outlines an incredibly expansive year for Organized Play, with Regional Qualifiers scheduled across North America, Europe, and APAC, including events in cities like Lille, Atlanta, Sydney, Vancouver, Barcelona, Singapore, Los Angeles, and more.

Riot also confirmed release timing for Riftbound’s next two sets. Riftbound: Vendetta, the fourth set, launches globally on July 31, with English and Simplified Chinese releases synchronized for the first time, and introduces Riftbound’s first enemy faction pairings. RiftboundRadiance, the fifth set, follows later in the year on October 23, bringing fan-favorite champions Ekko and Seraphine to the Rift. Preview seasons will roll out throughout the year, beginning with Riftbound: Unleashed previews on March 16, followed by Riftbound: Vendetta this Summer and Riftbound: Radiance in the Fall.

In addition to adding French to Riftbound in midyear 2026, Riot confirmed Riftbound players will soon be able to get cards in Chinese Traditional later this year.

These announcements are part of Riftbound’s first State of the Game update, where the development team pulls back the curtain on how the game is evolving, what they’ve learned since launch, and how player feedback is shaping what comes next. The update also includes a high-level look at Riftbound: Spiritforged, which releases in English on February 13.
