Today, Arc System Works America, Inc. announced that the UNDER NIGHT IN-BIRTH II Sys:Celes DLC character, Izumi The “Initiator” of the Final Act, is now available on PlayStation®4, PlayStation®5, and Steam as part of the game’s Season Pass. Izumi will be released on Nintendo Switch on August 21. Her release follows her unveiling at Evo USA in Las Vegas earlier this month. Beyond Izumi, the Season Pass instantly unlocks playable character Kuon, and previously released characters Ogre and Uzuki.
Within UNDER NIGHT IN-BIRTH II Sys:Celes, Izumi is a technical character who uses a combination with Elefee to toy with her opponents. She can perform a variety of combos by freely manipulating Elefee’s water powers, such as soap bubbles and water currents.
UNDER NIGHT IN-BIRTH II Sys:Celes features overhauled HD graphics, as well as new playable characters and a new storyline. The game includes a wide variety of playable characters, an evolved battle system, and enhanced network capabilities, including the series’ first-ever rollback netcode support. Players can enjoy “Ranked Matches,” “Casual Matches,” and “Player Matches” over the internet, and can use the ranking function to compete against players from all over the world.
