Arc System Works America, Inc. announced that the UNDER NIGHT IN-BIRTH II Sys:Celes DLC character Ogre “King of Devils” is now available on PlayStation®4, PlayStation®5, and Steam as part of the game’s Season Pass. He will launch a week later on Nintendo Switch™ on February 27. The character’s release follows his trailer unveiling at the inaugural Evo Awards in LosAngeles.
In UNDER NIGHT IN-BIRTH II Sys:Celes, Ogre is the former leader of a faction of wielders called the Bankikai. He came very close to defeating the all-powerful Paradox – however, he met misfortune when a certain newly-transformed Void ran rampant. Alone, Ogre fought to stop the Void, but ended up falling into the Abyss of the Night along with it. He has been missing ever since…until now. How has Ogre returned to this world? And why? Even Ogre doesn’t know the answers.
UNDER NIGHT IN-BIRTH II Sys:Celes features overhauled HD graphics, as well as new playable characters and a new storyline. The game includes an evolved battle system and enhanced network capabilities, including the series’ first-ever rollback netcode support.
The Ogre DLC is available now for $4.99 (individual DLC) or as part of the game’s Season Pass for $9.99, which comes bundled with 3 DLC characters (including Ogre).
