Arc System Works America, Inc. today announced the availability of GUILTY GEAR -STRIVE- Nintendo Switch Edition on the Nintendo eShop (digital version), Official ARC Shop (packaged version), and retailers nationwide at $59.99. Players can now enjoy the game’s epic 2.5D fighting on the Nintendo Switch™ whether from the comfort of their living rooms or on the go!
For players that are among the first to purchase the GUILTY GEAR -STRIVE- Nintendo Switch Edition (packaged version) during its first run production, they will also receive a free bonus pack while supplies last! This includes a Digital Mini Soundtrack featuring “Just Lean” (Johnny theme), “Extras” (Elfeldt-Valentine theme), “Symphony” (A.B.A. theme), and “Ups and Downs” (Slayer theme); as well as a Guilty Gear Digital Art Collection (with special illustrations from the original Guilty Gear through GUILTY GEAR -STRIVE-) and a reversible cover jacket.
Featuring all 28 characters across the game’s Seasons 1-3, GUILTY GEAR -STRIVE- Nintendo Switch Edition allows fans to play as Sol Badguy as well as all DLC characters up to Slayer. This includes the conclusion to Sol Badguy’s quest in Story Mode and additional background events occurring in the fully-voiced, 3D-animated “Another Story”. And this February, players can look forward to the arrival of Queen Dizzy to the game’s Nintendo Switch Edition as a free DLC playable character! The playable characters Venom, Unika (from the upcoming “Guilty Gear Strive: Dual Rulers” anime series), and Lucy (guest character from the “Cyberpunk: Edgerunners” anime series) are also in development for future DLC releases on the game’s Nintendo Switch Edition.
Furthermore, GUILTY GEAR -STRIVE- is bringing highly detailed, beautiful graphics and animations that have been recreated for the Nintendo Switch Edition. Players will experience the game’s intense, visual combat as they play online battles, Arcade mode, Story mode, and more using the Nintendo Switch’s TV mode, tabletop mode, or handheld mode.

As part of today’s launch celebrations, fans are also invited to virtually attend the Guilty Gear -Strive- Nintendo Switch Edition Live Launch Event that will take place at 7 PM PT today (Thursday, January 23) on the official Arc System Works Twitch channel (https://www.twitch.tv/arcsystemworksu). The stream event will feature hosts CDawgVA, JWong (Justin Wong), Brian_F, and Mighty Mouse (Demetrious Johnson); Diaphone and Ironmouse will be hosting a watch party of the stream as well.
