Devolver Digital and Massive Monster will host REAL [UNHOLY] WEDDING RITUALS at PAX Australia? PRAISE THE LAMB!

If you’re heading to PAX Australia, you should DEFINITELY check out the Cult of the Lamb-themed wedding rituals hosted by Devolver Digital, Massive Monster, and the one and only LAMB. PRAISE THE LAMB! This honestly sounds like an amazing event. Cannot wait to see pictures!

Praise The Lamb. Devolver Digital and Massive Monster have announced they will host two Cult of the Lamb weddings at this year’s PAX Australia in Melbourne. The activity will be titled Unholy Matrimony – a Cult of the Lamb Wedding, and see two devoted couples commit their love for each other in front of The Lamb… and everyone attending PAX Australia.

The two weddings will take place at 11am and 3pm AEST on Sunday, Oct. 13 and be conducted in a faithful life-size replica of the Cult of the Lamb Temple featured in the game.

The ceremonies will be real and legally binding, recognized by both the Victorian Government, and more importantly, The Lamb itself.

The Temple will be located next to the Handheld Lounge and the entrance to the Main Theatre, so there will be plenty of space for fans attending PAX Australia to come and join the congregation and celebrate with the happy couples as they tie the knot.

Also, this section of the convention is a non-ticketed area of PAX Australia, so fans wanting to watch the cultish ceremonies unfold can come along and join the fun – no ticket needed.

“Last year, we threw an epic rave at Federation Square, and over 6,000 people showed up,” said Julian Wilton, Creative Director at Massive Monster. “So, we thought, how do we top that this year? Easy… wedding rituals!”

“We’re definitely dialing up the crazy, but it’s all for you, our amazing fans. The love you’ve shown for our game has been incredible, and now it’s time to spread that love. And what better way to do that than by legally marrying two awesome couples?” Julian added.

In one of the most extravagant booths PAX Australia has ever seen, fans can visit the Temple on the Friday and Saturday of PAX Australia (Oct. 11 & 12) to watch various panels and presentations, play the latest update for Cult of the Lamb – Unholy Alliance, purchase items from the new range of Cult of the Lamb themed merchandise or simply take selfies of themselves in front of the Temple basking in the full glory of The Lamb.
