A new empathetic experience! Check out the details below.
The exquisite storytellers at Deconstructeam have revealed Essays on Empathy, a collection of inventive, short-form narrative games launching next month. From advancing a comedic duo’s standup career through a deck of cards to learning the refined art of floristry, Essays on Empathy’s curation of experiences is an engrossing curation inspired by various walks of life.
Spanish wordsmiths Deconstructeam (The Red Strings Club) and illiterate publisher Devolver Digital have announced Essays on Empathy, a curated compilation of Deconstructeam’s most engaging efforts in seeking new narrative experiences in games, is coming to PC on May 18.
Essays on Empathy collects 10 unique, offbeat tales including De Tres al Cuarto, a brand new short experience exclusive to the compilation about a couple of two-bit comedians trying to make it big. Inhabit the lives of a diverse cast of characters from all walks of life in bite-sized, innovative, interactive stories; from a hitman working at a flower shop, to a schoolgirl who is convinced her skeleton isn’t hers.
“It’s not the sort of role play I’m a connoisseur of,” growled Devolver Digital CMO Fork Parker. “But 10-for-1 is a good deal no matter what your kinks are.”
