Mobile Masters Seattle Crowns Champions – CryAboutIt, Wolfthunderranger, GANKSTARS and Boom Daddy

Over the weekend, Amazon hosted Mobile Masters Seattle, an action-packed two-day event at Amazon’s headquarters in Seattle, Wash., where 74 players from across the globe competed in popular mobile games including Power Rangers: Legacy Wars, Survival Arena, World of Tanks Blitz, and Critical Ops, for a share of a $100,000 prize pool. Winners included Wolfthunderranger in Power Rangers: Legacy Wars, Boom Daddy in Survival Arena, CryAboutIt in World of Tanks Blitz and GANKSTARS in Critical Ops.

World of Tanks Blitz kicked off the Mobile Masters weekend, as teams of seven battled in a double elimination format. In the end, team CryAboutIt took the crown to win the lionshare of the $20,000 World of Tanks Blitz prize pool. Second place went to team READY2KILL.

The world’s best Power Rangers: Legacy Wars players competed in a best-of-seven format. In the final round, Wolfthunderranger and Glorious duked it out with Wolfthunderranger ultimately taking home the top share of the $20,000 prize.

Professional Critical Ops players took to stage for the title’s Mobile Masters debut. In one of the most intense battles of the weekend, GANKSTARS bested Hammers Esports to claim the crown and the top share of the $40,000 pool.

To close out the show, the top Survival Arena players from across North America went head-to-head to earn the Mobile Masters title and take home the top share of the $20,000 prize. In the end, Boom Daddy overpowered Frontflip to be crowned the first Mobile Masters Survival Arena champion.

At this year’s event, Amazon utilized GameOn, the recently-launched competitive gaming service to power the qualifiers and competitive play of Power Rangers: Legacy Wars and Survival Arena. GameOn allows developers to integrate competitions natively into their games across platforms and devices through a set of flexible APIs. Through GameOn and live esports events, Amazon offers developers unique ways to increase consumer engagement and helps make esports accessible to all players and spectators.
