Los Angeles, California (June 25, 2018) – Netmarble Corporation, the fastest-growing mobile game company worldwide, released new content for the Club feature of its hit mobile fishing game, Fishing Strike. Clubs provide players a way to communicate and interact with fellow fishermen, giving incentives for players to band together and play the game in a Club.
A key update coming to the game is the Club-exclusive Deep Sea theme stage, where players can not only acquire 84 new kinds of fish found in the Deep Sea, but they can also participate in a Club mission to acquire certain kinds of fish and earn additional rewards.
Club Participation System is also added, which ranks each member of a team with a point value by the player’s level of participation in the Club. Clubs can now compete against each other by comparing their cumulative point value of all the members of the team.
Moreover, team members can participate in various Club activities, including daily attendance and clear Club-themed stages, to earn Club-exclusive currency called “tokens.” Tokens can be exchanged for exclusive items found only in the Club Shop.
Four new anglers joined the game as part of this update, including Nicole (Champion level angler) and Rachael (Legend level angler) who can be acquired only from the Club Shop, as well as Sunny (Champion level angler) and Brandon (Master level angler), all of whom will provide players with more fun of collecting anglers and using their unique skills in the dynamic battle with the fish.
To celebrate the update, Netmarble will host a 7-day log-in event where players can receive the new angler, Sunny, when they log-in daily for 7 consecutive days.
“The club content update is designed to allow players to enjoy the collaborative features of Fishing Strike amongst players,” said Netmarble’s Division Director Byung-jin Oh. He added, “Don’t miss out on the extensive rewards and the chance to acquire the new angler from this update and the event!”
Fishing Strike offers a completely new mobile fishing experience as players travel to real-world fishing sites and engage in dynamic gameplay between the angler and fish, utilizing unique skills and equipment to take on over 500 types of fish.
