Check out this Red Bull exclusive!
Today at 4pm PT / 7pm ET, Red Bull Radio will release the sixth episode of Diggin in the Carts, a radio program where host Nick Dwyer interviews Japanese video game composers, unveiling the stories behind iconic game scores, airing weekly on Wednesdays through December 20.
Episode six centers around Yoko Shimomura, the composer of the score for Street Fighter II. On this episode, she discusses her work on Capcom’s illustrious fighting game, as well as her scores for Square Enix’s Legend of Mana, Kingdom Hearts and Final Fantasy XV.
Later on, host Nick Dwyer explores some of the best soundtracks for PlayStation games, as well as the 90’s techno-infused Ghost in the Shell soundtrack.
I’d love for you to share this tune-in information with your readers who might want to learn more about Yoko Shimomura and other iconic Japanese video game composers. You can listen live here.
