Today, BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment Inc. released a major game update for PAC-MAN Puzzle Tour, the popular match-3 puzzle game available to download for free on the App Store for iOS and Google Play for Android devices.
The update features a retro look and the all-new Score Attack Mode in which players are challenged to get the highest score within a specified time limit.
Before each Score Attack stage begins, players can choose characters from classic arcade games such as PAC-MAN, and once the player’s skill gauge is full these characters will execute a special move to help clear the board. Initially you will only be able to select PAC-MAN, but as you proceed through the game you will gain new characters such as DIG-DUG and Galaga.
There will also be a leaderboard for Score Attack Mode and users who are top ranked will be offered various in-app game items as a prize.
PAC-MAN Puzzle Tour is a whimsical match-3 puzzle game that stars the iconic hero PAC-MAN, as he faces off against Inky, Blinky, Pinky, Clyde and a gang of new ghosts. Players must help PAC-MAN travel around the world by matching and clearing puzzles before the time runs out. Special Ghosts help unleash a-maze-ing abilities to clear the board and crush their old high score.
