IRVINE, Calif. Razer™, a world leader in connected devices and software for gamers, today announced that Razer Arena will have its servers fitted with EasyAntiCheat (EAC) in its effort to battle against hackers. This partnership will bring top-of-the-line game security systems built especially for competitive gaming and eSports, helping promote trust amongst players by keeping matches clean and fair.
“Running CS:GO tournaments online can be challenging with players being able to run third-party scripts that cheat the system,” says Min-Liang Tan, co-founder and CEO of Razer. “For this reason, we are excited to partner with EAC eSports and integrate their program into our servers as a solution to weed-out hackers, providing a fair tournament experience for everyone.”
To celebrate the integration, Razer will host CS:GO tournaments for North America and Europe fans where EAC will be used and showcased.
