IMMERSE YOURSELF: THE HELLBLADE: SENUA’S SACRIFICE 360° VIDEO
Epic Games and Ninja Theory have released a 360-degree video of the now legendary cinematic for Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice. The video enables anyone to explore the intense scene from all angles. The impressive technology behind the video is part of a collaboration between Epic Games and Ninja Theory, and is helping push the boundaries of what is possible with Unreal Engine.

THE LATEST FREE UNREAL ENGINE MARKETPLACE PLUG-INS
Since the launch of the plug-ins category for the Unreal Engine Marketplace, developers have produced amazing new content for Unreal Engine 4! From the Logitech Gaming SDKS to the SkookumScript command console, the plug-ins make it simpler than ever to create with Unreal Engine. Additional plug-ins provide developers with tools for using MODO material .xml files, gathering player in-game behavior and simplifying REST server communications.

UNREAL ENGINE 4.12 PREVIEW 3 NOW AVAILABLE
Early adopters can now download Unreal Engine 4.12 Preview 3 through the Unreal Engine launcher! The update includes a slew of bug fixes, along with experimental support of the Vulkan API.

EPIC TAKES ON NORDIC GAME CONFERENCE
Epic Games will be in full force at Nordic Game 2016 from May 18-20 in Malmö, Sweden. In addition to sponsoring the event, Epic is proud to be exhibiting and speaking at the conference. Epic Games’ own Tim Sweeney will be kicking off the conference with a keynote titled, “The Future of Graphics & Game Development” on May 18 in the Unreal Theater.

Epic will also be showcasing several Unreal Engine-powered games, including Wartile, The Solus Project, Planet Alpha 31, Skylar and Plux: Adventure on Clover Island, The Park and The Long Journey Home.

Lastly, attendees are invited to enjoy a mixer hosted by Epic and IGDA Finland at the Skeppsbron 2 on May 18.
TODAY ON TWITCH: NEW PLUG-INS & MAY GAME JAM KICKOFF
On today’s livestream, Marketplace Support Lead Stephanie Markoff will be joining Community Manager Alexander Paschall to discuss all of the new plug-ins available for download through the Marketplace. In addition, Alexander will kick off the May UE4jam by announcing the theme for this month! The top three entries will each receive an Epic swag box, while all participants will be entered into a drawing for a new Intel Compute Stick and wireless keyboard as part of the Intel Game Developer Program. All the winners will be announced during the May 26 livestream.
