Playable stages included Windy Hills and two variants of Desert Ruins. I played Windy Hills to completion on the 3DS version in about seven minutes. It featured a good combination of traditional fast forward movement along with plenty of enemy bashing via bounce attacks. One cool segment had me going from left to right, out-running a massive “boss” character as he munched up the trail behind me. The 3D in 3DS was put to good use as well thanks to changes in the camera that went from a distant third person view from the back to a more zoomed in (but certainly not too much) view of Sonic. The Wii U version at least will be two player as well. For more complete details from the source, I will be posting an audio file of the interview I did with a Sega rep.
