This Means War

This Means War

This film had me from hello! I loved it. The acting was fantastic. Reese Witherspoon, Chris Pine, Tom Hardy, and Chelsea Handler were wonderful and hilarious. They had great chemistry and brought great character to the film, even though the actual characters weren’t all that developed. That really didn’t matter a great deal due to the fact that you were paying more attention to the action and story.

The action was great. McG didn’t waist any time getting that started. Within the first minute there were bullets flying. The writing was witty and amusing. Chris Pine (FDR) did a great job presenting his devilishly smooth character lines. Tom Hardy (Tuck) also did a great job of playing the sweet, backward, lovable guy. Together they made a great comedy team.

You have to go into the film seeing it for what it is. It’s an almost silly comedy romance with large splashes of action thrown in here and there. It isn’t an over developed story with complex characters or a deviously tricky plot. It’s just a fun loving film with great action and humor. It’s a fun battle for the girl with neat spy tricks and gadgets thrown in here and there.

I have to say it is really worth watching. It makes for a great date night movie. So grab someone and hit the theater!
