Brand New Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D’s Title for Wii Offers Collaboration and Competition With 20 Different Characters From the Popular Animated Series
Today, KONAMI released the first screenshots from Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D’s Duel Transer. Coming to Wii™ this Fall, Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D’s Duel Transer brings a completely original storyline, new cards and unique gameplay modes to the expansive franchise that spans TV, card games and video games.
This time around, players battle with fan favorites Yusei Fudo and Jack Atlus in the Duel of Legend Cup and are pitted against 20 characters from the Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D’s universe, some have never been seen before! Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D’S Duel Transer offers more content than any other release to date including more than 4,500 of the most up-to-date Yu-Gi-Oh! cards including Star Strike Blast, releasing in November 2010. Players can compete in single player mode through Story Mode or take their card battling skills online and battle players worldwide via the Wii’s Wi-Fi connection.
The never before seen trailer provides a complete look at the opening cinematic for the all new Wii game including fan favorite Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D’s characters and a glimpse at the Island of Ragnarok where the Duel of Legends Cup takes place. More than 20 new screenshots reveal the identity of Surtr, the host and organizer of the Duel of Legends Cup, as well as a look at some of the character animation sequences and gameplay screenshots. Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D’s Duel Transer will be summoning duelists in late Fall 2010 and comes complete with three exclusive trading cards including: Closed Forest, Fighter Ape and Roaring Earth.
