Revisit the complicated battlefield of dating, commitment and marriage when Rules of Engagement: The Complete Third Season arrives on DVD September 14 from Sony Pictures Home Entertainment. The hit Sony Pictures Television comedy on CBS about the unique friendship between two couples and their single friend — all at different stages in their relationships — features a talented ensemble cast starring Patrick Warburton (TV’s “Seinfeld”), Megyn Price (TV’s “Grounded for Life”), Oliver Hudson (Black Christmas), Bianca Kajlich (TV’s “Vanished”), and David Spade (TV’s “Just Shoot Me”). The two-disc DVD set includes all 13 episodes from the third season, with guest stars Adhir Kalyan (Youth In Revolt), Perrey Reeves (TV’s “Entourage”), Tony Hale (TV’s “Arrested Development”) and Jerry Rice (TV’s “Dancing with the Stars”).
Rules of Engagement, which returns to prime time for a fifth season this fall, made its mid-season network debut on February 5, 2007. The series is executive produced by Tom Hertz (TV’s “Spin City”), Jack Giarraputo (Funny People) and Doug Robinson.
SYNOPSIS
Rules of Engagement presents a uniquely funny spin on sex lives and relationships, following the ups and downs of a group of single, engaged and married friends. Some of this season’s antics include Audrey’s (Price) upset with Jeff’s (Warburton) chauvinistic father when he threatens to file an insurance claim against them after getting hurt at their house; Jennifer (Kajlich) and Adam (Hudson) taking dance lessons for their wedding; and Russell (Spade) suspecting the new younger woman he is dating may be his daughter.
