Just a quick note to once again exalt the almighty Super Mario Galaxy 2. I realize that this is already a fervent topic of conversation, but just take a look at the latest update of GameRankings’ reviews database:

Yup–that’s Galaxy 2, currently tied with the front-runner Ocarina of Time (which has been in first since 1998). And if you ask me, it totally deserves that recognition.
UPDATE:
As of 3:24 PM today, it’s now BEATING Ocarina. If it persists, this would make Super Mario Galaxy 2 the top-rated game of all time. And we never thought we’d live to see the day…
