Toy Story
The little group of toys are in for adventure a second time around! Andy is away at camp and Woody has been kidnapped! Buzz leads the little group of toys on a daring rescue mission to save Woody before Andy returns. Woody has been taken by a loony toy collector and discovers hes the star of the TV show “Woody’s Roundup.” Woody is about to find himself as a museum display along with his fellow “Woody’s Roundup” gang, Jessie the cowgirl, Bullseye the Horse, and Stinky Pete the prospector. They are all prized collectibles being sold to the highest bidder. Buzz, Rex, Mr. Potato Head, and Ham find themselves in one dilemma after another trying to save Woody, but will he let stardom goes to his head?
There is absolutely no disappointment from this sequel! It is 100% as great as the original. The story is just as compelling as the first and characters are still just as incredible. If possible Buzz is even more hilarious! He really has some funny lines! Mrs. Potato Head throws in come funny ones too, along with every other character in the story. It is extremely entertaining. The additions to the characters are wonderful. Jessie and Bullseye are a hoot! The values of friendship are even stronger in this film than the last. The toys will stop at nothing to retrieve their lost friend, even if he may not want to be saved. Through thick and thin they stick together. That is such a wonderful message to convey to children. Both Toy Story films do an excellent job promoting positive thinking and values. This would be an excellent film for the family. Children will love all the characters and be engrossed by the story.
This film was gorgeous. It was so clear, and the colors were so brilliant. The contrasts were perfectly balanced and the sharpness was impressive. The characters were just so detailed and alive with color and charisma. Along with it being beautiful it sounded just as great. All the music sequences were wonderful. The voices were all extremely crisp and clear along with any background noise. I really have no complaints with the visuals or audio. The film was even more spectacular than the first, and that’s saying something.
