Ice Age Dawn of the Dinosaurs
Manny and his herd find themselves caught up in an adventure to save Sid. The silly sloth has once again got himself into a bind, by accidentally discovering the thought to be extinct dinosaurs and upsetting a very grumpy T-rex. Butch, the new to the gang jungle savvy weasel, assists in the journey and guides the odd little herd on the search to rescue the lost Sid. In addition to this icy adventure the marvelous Scrat is back again, this time making a new and special friend, but is his acorn safe?
Icy Truth
Ice Age Dawn of the Dinosaurs was great! It was very funny and had a new interesting twist to it. Besides being very enjoyable to watch, the new characters were quite entertaining and a very good addition to the movie. They will be memorable and favored by many. Buck, a slightly crazed weasel, was one of the best parts of the film. He added a different aspect to the film. With his daring personality and ongoing nemesis battle, Butch is easy to like and entertaining to watch.
Out of all the old and new characters, I must say Scrat is the best. He is beyond hilarious! He is by far the funniest part of the Ice Ages movies. I fell in love with him within seconds of watching Ice Age and still find him the highlight of all three films. The new story development between Scrat and the Scratte is hilarious! The creativity of the story and visual detail was astounding.
All the little extras that were put into the background of all the scenes were extremely creative. It was all the attention to detail that made the film so wonderful and entertaining. The film was absolutely beautifully done.
I cannot say enough about how wonderful the picture was. It was extremely crisp, clean and full of eye catching vibrant colors. It just looked amazing. The menu screen was very cool and unique. Loved the dino teeth. The visual effects alone are worth every penny. When the great sound, entertaining story, and spectacular special features are all added, this blu-ray/DVD/digital copy is a steal.
The sound was great. The 7.1 DTS-HD Master audio was marvelous producing very clear crisp sounds that just wrapped around you. From the loud thumping of the biggest dino to the smallest of the scurrying possum the sounds were perfect.

WOW!!! I was amazed by all the features in this combo pack. There were a ton of absolutely awesome features and shorts. The Scrat Pack was superb! The extras are definitely worth the buck for blu-ray.
