Just received word from Activision to remind our readers that the demo for Guitar Hero: Smash Hits is available on Xbox Live right now. The demo includes three tracks, and those are: Franz Ferdinand’s “Take Me Out,” Wolfmother’s “Woman” and Kiss’ “Rock and Roll All Nite.”

Also, fans can check out the Guitar Hero Smash Hits 2009 Music Awards page and submit their votes for their favorite songs and artists in a variety of categories. On the site you will also find code to embed the voting module on your site or social networking page.

Guitar Hero: Smash Hits is being developed by Beenox, Inc., published by Activision, and is due out next Tuesday, June 16th.
