Hello everyone!
This generally isn’t among our range of covered topics, but seeing as there’s been so many requests for footage and stills from the new Canon HF-S10/100, I’ve decided to create a special article here showcasing some of the digital photography capabilities of the camera. While the video resolution hasn’t necessarily benefitted from the fact that the number of Megapixels has been exponentially increased, one thing that definitely has benefitted is the digital photo capability. Check out the images below for examples; you can click them for full resolution 3+ MB originals. You’re welcome! 🙂
I have taken the time to compare a few images with ones from my Canon SD870 IS as well in case you’re interested as to how this thing holds up against a mid-range point-and-shoot digital still camera. It’s surprisingly competent with a wider range of options than most consumer digital still cams!
Also, don’t miss the several different sample videos I have posted in our Video Gallery; they’re extremely hi-res streaming–the best on the ‘net as far as I know (just search keyword HF-S100 once you’re there to find all nine of them).
Enjoy!
