Star Wars: The Old Republic
Welcome young padawan to a new MMORPG in the Star Wars universe. The Old Republic from Bioware and EA challenges you to seek out your destiny as one of a myriad of characters. On the level of a WoW or Rift, The Old Republic combines a variety of gameplay elements to create a new game that puts a new twist on these classics.

The Sims 3: Generations
Coming out of EA is the first Sims expansion pack of its kind, somewhat straddling the line between a full-blown extension of the game and an extensive “stuff pack”, if you will. The Sims 3: Generations is unlike other expansions in that rather than providing a fully new sort of experience, it instead chooses to simply weave new content throughout the existing Sims 3 template. Depending on what you expect from the experience and whether or not you appreciate focusing on a single Sim from birth to elderly age, this may or may not be what you’re looking for.

RIFT
RIFT Hot
At the Electronic Entertainment Expo of 2010 we had the pleasure of meeting with a wonderful company called Trion. They showed us some great games while at the show that included a real-time strategy game and a little game called RIFT. For World of Warcraft fans out there this has been a title that has been part of great debates recently. Some consider RIFT to be the WoW killer. Some consider RIFT an afterthought. The question is, who is right? Having played almost 10 days of RIFT I have somewhat of a grasp on what to expect and what might be the answer to that question.

Star Wars: Clone Wars Adventures
So I wasn't sure what to expect when I loaded up Star Wars: Clone Wars Adventures for the first time. I had imagined that it was this great MMO, but realized that this isn't for the usual MMO crowd. Come read what I found out in this online galaxy not too far away.

Serious Sam HD: The Second Encounter
Years ago, I fondly remember playing through the Serious Sam games from Croteam at LAN parties with friends. A few months ago, Serious Sam: The First Encounter was re-released with "HD" inserted into its name, meaning it had spruced up graphics and new features. Now, Serious Sam HD: The Second Encounter has made its way to Steam and XBLA for FPS fans to enjoy. Is the $20 price tag worth it? Let's find out!

Shatter (PC)
Last year, one of my favorite surprise hits and overall most enjoyable PSN game was Shatter from Sidhe Interactive. Previously available only on the PSN, Shatter has expanded its horizons, and available modes, to encompass the PC market thanks to Steam. The PC version also includes Endless/Endless Co-Op and Time Attack/Time Attack Co-op that add to an already enjoyable experience. For the most part, the game is exactly the same as the PSN release and therefore I will re-use some of my original PSN review, making changes where necessary. For starters, lets examine the modes.

Hotel Giant 2
Aspiring hotel moguls or fans of The Sims might want to give Hotel Giant 2 a look. Developed by Nobilis and published by Southpeak Interactive, Hotel Giant 2 will let you build and manage the hotel of your dreams with a plethora of options and an intense amount of micro management. The subject matter is niche enough, but the tedium of constant management made this one tough to enjoy. I'm not a fan of The Sims either though, so if you are into games like this, your mileage may vary. Nobilis certainly gives you a lot to tinker around with anyway; let's take a closer look at Hotel Giant 2...

Twin Sector
Twin Sector is a first person puzzle solving game developed by DnS Development that definitely takes its cues from Portal. I suppose imitation is the sincerest form of flattery but this low-budget imitation from production value to game play is far from flattering.
