Alien Skin - Exposure 4
One of the biggest arguments against digital photography when the industry first started to transition from film was the fact that certain formats or techniques had products which were iconic and lost to the perfect product that digital produced. Vintage looks weren't accurately reproduced with digital formats without a ton of work in post. Alien Skin has come to the rescue with it's Exposure plugin for Photoshop, and in version 4 we see some killer upgrades to make your Canon 5D shoot like an AE-1 with Kodachrome (and lots more!)

Find My Car Smarter
If you're like most people you can probably recall about 7 things just from memory. Yet... if you're like me you have trouble remembering where you left your car. There have been lots of apps which let you find it again, if you can remember to pinpoint your location before you exit. Therein is the problem... if I were good at remembering things, I wouldn't need those apps. We need something smarter to help us.

Cord Cruncher
Portable music fans share one common frustration regardless of whether they're rocking an iPod, iPhone, Zune, Android or even an old school Sony Walkman. When you go to your pocket, purse or backpack to retrieve your headphones they've somehow magically wound themselves into such a tangled mess that you have to spend the next 5 minutes working out kinks before you can get to your tunes. Not anymore.

Sugru
When it comes to fixing, tweaking and hacking it's pretty universally agreed upon that the most versatile, valuable, and convenient tool you can have in your toolbox is duct tape. For years we've been patching stuff up with the stinky silver stuff, and it's gone pretty much gone unchallenged. While I agree it's handy, duct tape has gone unchallenged since it was invented in the in the 1940's. Well it's 2012 now... and while we may not have gotten our flying cars, we have gotten something new which has made modding, fixing and hacking a breeze and which challenges duct tape's role as the most valuable tool in your toolbox. Wonder Threads Laptop and iPad Sleeves
Probably as fun as the gadgets we love are the vast number of accessories that can accompany them. The problem some of us may face however is that sometimes our nicer gadgets and accessories may draw some unwanted attention. Straight from the desk of Q comes a line of iPad and MacBook accessories so stealth that James Bond himself would use them, Wonder Threads has produced a lineup of covert covers guaranteed not to turn heads... which is ironically the point.
