The cast and crew of the Shin Chan dub is back for one last hurrah as the English dub of the series ends after this dvd set.
Season 3 Part 2 contains episodes 66-78 which is a decent run for the series though the Japanese version has considerably more episodes.
Season 3 of the Funimation Dub follows the random adventures of Shinnosuke “Shin” Nohara and his family, friends, and the other random adults in his life. A rather dated show, the original Crayon Shin-chan dates back to 1992 in Japan and so Funimation took a similar route to the Geneon re-release of Lupin the Third by updating the series through the English voice cast and references to modern pop culture. While I enjoyed both the original Japanese and English versions of Lupin, I feel that something is missing in this ‘update’ of Shin-chan.
The director of Audition and Ichi the Killer (as well as the upcoming Gyakuten Saiban - Phoenix Wright movie) directs a...family friendly...superhero parody movie? Well alright then let’s do this.
Episodes 251-291
The 7th and final part of the original Dragon Ball Z series comes in this nice looking box, having the last 40 episodes of the series.
