Well it’s time for another ecchi anime review. Apparently I got stockpiled with these things.
This time the anime is Sekirei – a near-future era story of our hapless protagonist Minato Sahashi, a student that has failed to get into college twice, who finds himself in a battle of Heaven and Earth in the city of Shintou Teito.

What is intended as a romantic comedy fails spectacularly in the story of Yamada, the fifteen year old freshman whose greatest desire in life is to sleep with 100 men now that she’s in highschool. This 12 episode series tries to market itself like similar Funimation titles Sekirei, Strike Witches, and other ‘ecchi’ series…but this just comes off as kinda creepy and insulting.

A school comedy/drama revolving around Ryoko Okami, a highschool girl and member of the Otogi Bank school club. The Otogi Bank revolves around solving other students problems for unspecified favors in the future. Their activities skirt the line of being illegal but they manage to not get in trouble with authorities mostly from their close connections with the dirty old man of a school Principal.

What if the battle of the sexes meant more than just the differences of our gender? Would it be worse than WWII? Without a doubt. Would the fighting distract everyone from the bigger picture? Definitely.

Not to be confused with the similarly recently released movies “Ip Man” and “Ip Man 2”, this movie while not associated with the other two is also focused on the legendary martial arts master and trainer of Bruce Lee – Ip Man.

Baka and Test! Summon the Beasts! Is a 13 episode modern day romantic school comedy series. The series focuses on the day to day school life of Akihisa Yoshii. But what's the twist on this series? The school is Fumizuki Academy, where the students are rigidly separated based on their academic abilities ranked A to F. The best resources and supplies are given to those of a higher rank - with class F having an absolutely abysmal classroom with cardboard boxes for desks.
In addition to this every student at the academy can summon an "Avatar" - a chibi sized version of themselves that represents their academic ability (complete with an attack rating and a combat style similar to the Super Robot Taisen series)
Teachers largely stay out of class-based conflict and allow the students to fight each other in a class vs class based battle referred to as a Summon Test War between their respective Avatars - if a lower ranked class defeats a higher ranked one they can take their resources and supplies for themselves.
