The Vita has found quite a niche as the go-to platform for JRPGs, with the first western release of a Sword Art Online game arriving exclusively on Sony's handheld.

Sniper Elite 3 takes the fight to Africa, sporting bigger maps and more sniping action than its predecessors, but it's also got a lot of bugs and shortcomings (most if not all are patchable), that detract, but do not ruin, the experience.

Another Gundam game! WAIT! Another Dynasty Warriors game! WAIT! Hm. This is one of those ‘chocolate in my peanut butter’ sort of things. That turned out well, as did Dynasty Warriors: Gundam Reborn.

Sure as hell glad this didn’t require quarters. My wife would have killed me.

Epic on the PC, but certainly not the same game on the Vita — not a bad attempt, though.

I found CyberConnect2's take on the JoJo's Bizarre Adventure universe enjoyable and even a bit addictive, but it's not (intended) to be for everyone.

Cel Damage HD by Finish Line Games looks to bring the frenzied, four-player splitscreen cartoony combat kart racer (FPSCCKR for acronym fans!) to the modern era.

Whew. My senses hate this shit, which bodes well for the game. Probably not my trunks.

Revelations fits in between the story events of CLOS and CLOS2, giving players an opportunity to traverse Dracula's castle as his son, Alucard. While not particularly long at just 3-4 hours, Revelations has some valuable features...

Strider Featured

I remember getting my copy of EGM in 1990 and read a wonderful article about the upcoming Strider game for my Sega Genesis. It was a game changer for the system (at least for me), something that would help forge Sega ahead of its rival Nintendo (at least for me — Sonic was a huge reason for Sega jumping ahead of Nintendo). It was one of the best experiences I had with a game when I was younger. So, you’ll find it less than surprising that when I heard that Capcom was reviving the game for this latest generation of consoles, I couldn’t help but feel excited about the possibilities. Was it going to be a remake like Bionic Commando? Were they simply going to update everything and keep the story we all know and love? What was happening with this title and how would Double Helix honor the original Strider’s memory? The game arrived and all of these questions were answered. Well, at least they kept the communists…sorta.   Let’s get right into it.
