Director Stephen Fung's first film in his planned trilogy arrives on Blu-ray and DVD next week. Tai Chi Zero, whose sequel is set to release in theaters later this month, is a "kung fu" movie unlike I have ever seen.

If there was ever any doubt that Donnie Yen was an Asian cinema superstar, he has fully erased that doubt in the last few years with some knockout films. Ip Man jumped to the top of my all time favorites list, followed by an excellent sequel. Donnie also co-starred with Sammo Hung in Kill Zone, which was a very good action flick. Most recently, Donnie played Chen Zhen in a remake of Bruce Lee's classic Fists of Fury (aka Chinese Connection) which was also re-imagined by Jet Li in Fist of Legend. It's hard to imagine anything going wrong with Donnie's version, but let's take a closer look.

One of my favorite films last year, and one that ranks very high on my all time list, is Ip Man. Directed by Wilson Yip and starring Donnie Yen, Ip Man was inspired by real life events of the legendary Wing Chun Grandmaster. The sequel picks right up where the first left off -- most of the cast and crew intact. The two disc Collector's Edition is available tomorrow on DVD and Blu-ray. Both versions are identical except for the presentation quality of the feature film. Let's take a closer look, shall we?

The Man From Nowhere is an outstanding Korean film that stars Won Bin and Kim Sae-Ron. Bin plays a secluded man who gets wrapped up into a drug war while his young friend, played by Sae-Ron, is put in harm's way. The two hour movie never skips a beat and remains captivating from the get-go. Today, Well Go USA is releasing it on Blu-ray and for action movie fans, it's well worth your attention.
