In 1986, the change into the 90s began occurring. People started moving away from the wacky hairdos, the outrageous clothes and started moving into a darker more cynical adjustment of life. On par with The Breakfast Club, but certainly not as serious, John Hughes put together a simple story of a young man wanting to skip school and enjoy a day out in the city.
As we should have expected from a John Hughes film, it was life altering and epic on so many levels.
