Star Trek
Featured
It's a big month for Star Trek, with the release of TNG S03 on Blu-ray, the new JJ Abram's film in theaters, and a videogame. I can tell you the TNG Blu-ray is amazing; I haven't seen the new movie yet obviously, but I bet it's a better value than the new game.

Thundercats
Hot
For the animation fans out there, it’s truly a shame that the revamped Thundercats series was canceled after only one season, because by all the accounts I’ve been exposed to it was a great tribute to the original show, if not better in nearly every aspect in comparison. Does "Thundercats" for the Nintendo DS match that level of quality, or does it belong in an electrified litter box? Let's find out!

Inversion
Hot
Inversion was developed by Saber Interactive (Will Rock, Timeshift) and published by Namco. It's a third person shooter game with cover mechanics like Gears, build around the idea of using gravity to change gameplay. It's a neat idea, but the execution leaves a lot to be desired.

Tekken 3D Prime Edition was one of the more impressive titles we saw at E3 2011. Though it was strictly in prototype form, the folks Namco and Arika had achieved a solid sixty frames-per-second with 3D fully engaged, a feat even Capcom couldn't accomplish with their 3DS edition of Super Street Fighter IV. Tekken in 3D certainly looked nice, but what sort of game its tech would crawl into remained a mystery.
