There is more here than your assumptions can put together. There was a reason why Disney pretty much had their entire E3 booth dedicated to this game. It's big.

Mickey is called back to Cartoon Wasteland to help out with some issues the place is having. This time around he's got a new companion to help him literally paint the town (yes, I went there). Oswald the Rabbit is included in the adventure this time, and there's more old school/new school fun to be had with Disney Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two.

Based on the Pixar film by the same name, Brave attempts to bring good action, sweet charm and depth to a video game movie stereotype that desperately needs it.  If you're a gamer that knows the ropes when it comes to movie-to-game conversions, then you know what I'm talking about.

Remember the days when you were a kid and you played a game with your friend or sibling that was completely mindless, but nonetheless fun? Welcome to Phineas and Ferb: Across the 2nd Dimension.

Our favorite Pirates of the Caribbean have landed on the 3DS -- in LEGO style. Could this portable version be just as fun as the console counterparts? Come find out...

In the past I have shied away from LEGO based games. The last one I played, LEGO Harry Potter, simply bored the tears out of me with its repetitive nature and lackluster gameplay. To be fair, my kids didn't enjoy it very much either (don't worry, they're not as jaded as their father). With that said, when we got in LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean for review I was less than enthusiastic about what could potentially be a repeat performance of my previous LEGO experience. On top of this, it was mighty suspicious the timing of this game's release with the upcoming release of the fourth film. All of this combined would possibly equal out to be a horrid LEGO experience, right? Wrong.

In 1982, I saw one of the greatest films in my young life, TRON. Now, notice I didn't say that it was 'the' greatest because in all honesty it was a poorly made film in terms of story and character development. What made it great was the action in the film, the chance to see a frisbiee deathmatch and cool glowing costumes. Plus, this was the first film to actually use computer generated graphics, which makes it special for a lot of folks out there. Anyway, the arcade games by the same name (TRON and Disc of TRON) also emerged on the scene and they brought some pretty solid gameplay for that time period. They kept the theme of the movie and actually lasted longer in the entertainment category than the movie did in the theaters. So, to say the video game side of things for TRON were successful would be a mild understatement. Nearly twenty years later new online games of the famous light cycles from the game began cropping up online. Soon after there was a release of TRON 2.0 on the PC, which meant that people were still thinking about it. Finally, Walt Disney...

I haven't played a racing title as exciting and addictive as Split/Second in a long time. I've always been more of an arcade racer than a sim one, although I can certainly find enjoyment in both. I thought NFS: Shift did a nice job of blurring the lines between the two, but not since Burnout: Paradise have I really gotten to sink my teeth into a serious arcade racer until Split/Second.

This game is most certainly a child's play-thing but does it appeal to a broader crowd?
